IMEN Rules and Regulations



All members must be adhere to our rules and regulations for the enjoyment of our organization.

Please read all of the following carefully.  IMEN’s online social community will allow you to have an interactive profile, pictures, messaging, and interaction with other members.

There are some simple rules that every member must follow:

Rules For Main Member Directory Profile Text:

  • IMEN is NOT a “sexual hook-up” organization and this site is not to be used for that purpose. Profiles which contain explicit descriptive statements relating to your physical attributes, especially pertaining to endowment, sexual activity preferences, etc. are not acceptable and will be removed.

Rules For Posting Pictures:

  • Main Member Directory Profile Picture – Only face pictures may be used for your main profile photo.  This face picture MUST BE of you.

  • Photos uploaded to your personal photo album may be any you wish to share with other members, BUT, with these exceptions: 

                                    No sexual activity
                                    No cum shots

                                    No photos of minors



Rules For Posting Dialogue:

  • No bigoted remarks will be tolerated

    • This includes, but is not limited to, making comments about race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, gender identity, disability, veteran status, politics, or anything else that can be construed as insulting or bigotry.  If you aren’t sure, err on the side of caution and don’t do it.

  • No prohibited photos or website links to such photos

  • No flaming, trolling, name calling, baiting, harassment, etc.

    • Flaming, plain and simple is name calling in general just because you have nothing better to do.  If you have nothing to say, don’t say anything at all.

    • Trolling is looking for a fight, wording things maliciously, or attacking people.  Report people doing this and do not feed into their harassment.

    • Baiting is similar to trolling except it’s doing or saying things to which someone may respond or be upset and flame in return.

  • No slander or libelous accusations. No inflammatory or incendiary language. No threats, stalking, or any other form of harassment. No disparaging comments about other members, board members, or anyone associated with trying to make IMEN a great organization and experience for everyone.   Remember, we are “IMEN, FOR ALL MEN”.

  • NO SPAM!  SPAM links and posts will be deleted and member’s posting them will have his membership with IMEN revoked!  If anyone encounters SPAM postings, please report them to the IMEN Board.

 

If any one of the rules regarding posting pictures or posting dialogue are not adhered to, IMEN will enforce the following:

  • First offense

    • An e‐mail warning will be sent to you asking you to remove the offending photos or posts (main profile photos not adhering to our rules will be automatically removed by IMEN)

  • Second offense

    • An e‐mail warning will be sent to you.  The offending photos or posts will be removed by IMEN.

  • Third offense

    • A suspension of membership for review by the IMEN Board

      (Any accounts that are reviewed after three offenses and reinstated will be monitored for ninety (90) days and members will be put on probation. If during the probationary time a member fails to adhere to the notes rules, his membership will be immediately suspended without notice and may be permanently revoked as determined by the IMEN Board.)

 

 

Now that the rules are out of the way, it’s time to get down to some fun!

The new website has so much more to offer than the “old” website that we switched from.  It will take some time to discover all of the functions that are available to you.  The best source is trial and error.  If there is something that you don’t understand, please click on the CONTACT US tab to let us know.  We’d be happy to help you. 

  • Membership Renewals

    • Our website will now start to remind you via email 30 days prior to the expiration of your membership.  It will be up to you to renew your membership either by submitting a check to our P.O. Box or by renewing your membership online.  If you don’t renew your membership by the renewal date, the system will automatically deactivate your account.

  • Gathering Registration

    • We have an online gathering registration application!  This will automatically pull your information from your profile to populate the gathering registration form.  You can pay for your gathering attendance online.

  • Member Profile

     

    • You may also allow as much or as little information in your personal profile as you wish. You can hide all of your information from other members (i.e. choose not to be listed in the online directory) by clicking the box entitled, Hide Entire Profile under the MY PROFILE link, or customize the information that you allow others to view.  To get to the MY PROFILE link, select SOCIAL COMMUNITY > MY PROFILE.

Personal Profile Photos
       

This is the default picture that will display in your profile unless you choose to have another picture uploaded of yourself.

    • Adding or Changing a Picture in your Profile

If you would like to either add a photo to your profile or to change an existing photo, you may do so by clicking on My Profile in the navigation bar and clicking Change Profile Picture found in the Status box.  Please be sure to upload only a headshot of yourself or your picture will be removed as indicated in our Rules For Posting Pictures.

  • Member Directory

    • We have an interactive online member directory that allows you to search for other IMEN members who allow their profiles to be posted.  This member directory is updated real-time as new members join IMEN.  To search the directory, select SOCIAL COMMUNITY > MEMBER DIRECTORY.
